Anatomiczna geometria funkcjonalna (AFG) z matematycznego i geometrycznego punktu widzenia nie jest techniką modelowania, ale przede wszystkim skrupulatną i wnikliwą analizą anatomicznej budowy zębów. Obserwacja i pomiar setek ust i tysięcy zębów pozwoliły zgromadzić szereg kodów numerycznych, które – co ciekawe – często powtarzają się w skali makro. Powtarzalne kody mogą być identyfikowane między różnymi zębami, a nawet w obrębie pojedynczych zębów, z marginesem błędu wynoszącym około 0,5mm. Powtarzalność tych kodów jest podstawą tworzenia formy zębów.

Anatomic Functional Geometry (AFG), rather than being a modeling technique, is first and foremost a scrupulously careful study of the normal anatomy of teeth, from a mathematical and geometrical point of view. Observation and measurement of hundreds of mouths and thousands of teeth have enabled us to accumulate a series of numerical codes that, surprisingly, tend to repeat themselves on a macroscopic level. Recurring codes can be identified between different teeth or even within single teeth with a margin of error of around 0.5 mm. The recurrence of these codes is the basis of the forming of the teeth themselves.
